Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been called a story of ‘rich people’ and their ‘dreamland’, where Ranbir and Anushka hop across London bars, fly in private jets and sustain themselves without a job. Aishwarya plays a rich poet (Do they exist?), and Fawad is a DJ. The candyfloss characters fail to add sheen to the plot, though. Hence, we’ve got a desi and sasta version of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Read on.
Ranbir and Anushka bond over chai and juices in various dhabas. And then they decide to go the distance.
After this, Ranbir and Anushka take a shared cab to Gurgaon. The cab gets stuck in a traffic jam. After three days of being in the jam, they decide to come back.
Ranbir then meets Aishwarya, who runs a book photocopy shop, and memorises WhatsApp forward poetries in her free time.
And then there’s Fawad Khan, whose role...err... ‘roll’ has no takers apparently.
And that’s how desi friendzone works. *Sniff sniff*
If you think this is better than the original, then don’t be a buzzkill and share this across. Because that’s not so mushkil.
