‘Ramayan’ Actor Mukesh Rawal Found Dead On Railway Tracks

Television actor and well-known Gujarati theatre personality Mukesh Rawal was found dead on the railway tracks near Kandivali station in Mumbai on Tuesday morning. The 66-year-old Rawal was best known for his portrayal of Vibhishishan in hit ’90s TV show Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan.

According to Times of India, the Kandivali station master informed the GRP around 9.30 am about the accident. When Rawal was rushed to a public hospital, doctors pronounced him dead. His identity was only established when his his family, who had started inquiring about him at various hospitals, recognised him on the basis of his clothes.

Rawal is survived by his wife and two daughters.
