1. Shah Rukh Khan the Family Man

On Sunday, fans and followers of Shah Rukh Khan got to see the star’s emotional and personal side as a family man, a little more than usual. Shah Rukh first tweeted about his wife Gauri in response to all the wishes he was getting on his wedding anniversary.

SRK thanked Gauri for 32 years of patience, perseverance, forgiveness, love and three beautiful kids. He also soon tweeted about his ‘babies’ who dropped in to visit him on the sets of Dilwale.

The mere presence of my kids makes the day brighter,’ posted Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter.

2. SRK Misses Kajol

On the professional front, in a recent interview Shah Rukh Khan said that he misses working with Kajol.

I miss Kajol in every film. With this film she gave us 150 days. She had to be away from her children and I know it is a huge sacrifice for a parent. We are restless people who want to do more films. Earn more money. But Kajol is a rested soul. She doesn’t care about these things. We are thankful that she took time out for this movie.

The star also revealed he didn’t have a good impression of Kajol when he first met her.

When I was working with her in Baazigar, Aamir Khan asked me about her as he wanted to work with her. I left him a message saying that she is very bad and has no focus. You will not be able to work with her. And then I saw the rushes in the evening. I kept calling Aamir to clarify. I told him, I don’t know what it is but she is magical on screen.

3. Hrithik Roshan to Host a New TV Show Called Heroes

So Hrithik Rohan will now be hosting a new TV series titled Heroes, which will showcase stories of real people who have overcome challenges and limitations to emerge as heroes. Wait, now where have we heard that before? Though the concept sounds similar to Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate and Amitabh Bachchan’s Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi, Roshan says it’s different.

‘Satyamev Jayate’ is a show about people, who are achievers in their own right and other problems, but ‘Heroes’ is real stories of people who overcome what they felt was their difficulty and obstacle. So it is about individual stories.

We still don’t get the difference, but let’s see what magic Roshan brings to the small screen.

4. Abhishek Kapoor Wins Case Against Farhan Akhtar on Rock On 2

The Bombay High Court on Friday ruled in favour of filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor in a case he had filed demanding joint credit with Pubali Chaudhuri for sharing the writing credit on Rock On 2. After the court’s ruling, Farhan Akhtar’s production house Excel Entertainment too consented. The writer and filmmaker said that he was earlier ‘heartbroken’ on not being given credit for the script of the sequel.

I feel vindicated because this has been going on for a couple of years now. I have struggled with this, and eventually, I had to go to the court to get my credit. But now that it’s done, I’m feeling great. I had full faith in the country’s judiciary. I’m happy that they have given such an impeccable judgement. I’m also thankful to my lawyers who had faith in me, and who stood by me.

5. Shaandaar Gets a Dull Box-Office Response

After getting mixed reviews on Thursday, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Shaandaar opened below par at Rs 13.10 cr, despite it being a holiday because of Dussehra. While the film’s second day’s collection was expected to dip slightly, being a working Friday, there was bad news as earnings dropped to Rs 7.55 cr. Shaandaar’s collection was expected to rise on Saturday, but it dropped further to Rs 6.75 cr. With a total collection of Rs 27.40 cr (nett) so far, it looks unlikely that Shaandaar will make money for Fox Star.
