1. Shah Rukh Confirms Ra.One Sequel Will Be Titled G.One
Clearly, SRK loves technology. Now that it’s been five years since the release of his superhero sci-fi film Ra.One, Shah Rukh Khan wants to use all the new technology available to make its sequel. A DNA report confirmed this recent development with SRK’s quote:
Today, technology has changed. In the last 5 years, I have learnt a lot about technology myself. So we are trying to make it bigger and better. Ra.One sequel is definitely happening. We will call it G.One this time.

2. John and Abhishek in No Mood to Complete Hera Pheri 3?
The first schedule of Hera Pheri 3 was shot with John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Neha Sharma, but since then the two actors have not been able to take time out for the film. John is busy shooting for Force 2 and Dishoom. Even Abhishek Bachchan is busy with his film projects. Sources say that the two actors seems to have lost interest in the project. Looks like the makers of Hera Pheri 3 will have to wait patiently till the Dostana jodi gets back on the sets.
3. Bajirao Mastani Races Past Dilwale on its 2nd Weekend
Finally, both big releases Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani have crossed the 100 Cr mark. But Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, which started out with huge numbers on its first weekend, lost out to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani in the second weekend. Bajirao Mastani took the lead by making Rs 34. 30 Cr, while Dilwale was way behind at Rs 21.23 Cr.
4. Vinod Chopra to Direct Wazir For Hollywood
Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra is making sure that his film Wazir continues to be in the news. Chopra said that he will make Wazir for Hollywood. This comment comes before the film’s India release. Writer Abhijaat Joshi revealed details of the project in a PTI report:
He (Vidhu Vinod Chopra) was going to direct this in Hollywood. And for four years we wrote the script that he wanted to direct. Right now he got interested in Bejoy Nambiar’s work and he showed him the scripts that we had. Bejoy picked this one (Wazir) and he sat with him for two years adapting it in Hindi.

This wont be Chopra’s first outing in Hollywood. His ambitious film Broken Horses was being touted as a courageous move, but the film tanked without a trace.
5. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Crosses $1 Billion Globally
Star Wars has blasted past the $1 Billion mark globally, faster than any other film in history. According to the Hollywood Reporter, it is also leading the biggest Christmas weekend ever at the North American box office, with a stunning $153.5 Million, for a domestic total of $544.6 Million. The Disney and Lucas film title hit $1 Billion on Sunday, its 12th day of release. Jurassic World, which had the benefit of opening day-and-date in China, was the previous record-holder (13 days). The Force Awakens also snatched the record for the biggest second weekend from Jurassic World, which earned $106 Million domestically in its sophomore outing. Overseas, The Force Awakens took in $133.3 Million for a foreign total of $546 Million and a worldwide haul of $1.09 Billion. At this rate, there’s no saying how high the Star Wars reboot will ultimately fly.
