Kamya Punjabi has expressed her disappointment with regard to the investigation into the death of her friend, Pratyusha Banerjee. She has spoken out at, what she feels is, an unfortunate time.

I have been saying all this since day one, naya kya hai? Police took months to prove it, let’s see what actions they are taking against him! There is no value of a life in this country!

Rahul Raj Singh, Pratyusha’s former boyfriend, reacted with immense anger against the tabloid Mumbai Mirror, which reported excerpts from a transcript that accuse him of forcing her into prostitution.

He felt that the tabloid tampered with Pratyusha’s transcript from the chargesheet and was willing to go ahead and file a defamation case against the publication as well. It doesn’t end here, the man also accuses Pratyusha’s parents, friends and their lawyer of ganging up on him and maintains that they are doing this for publicity.
