After spending nearly five years of his career on SS Rajamouli’s epic-scale Baahubali films, it goes without saying that actor Prabhas, who played Amarendra Baahubali and his son in both the films, deserves a royal break. The 37-year-old is currently on a holiday in the US with a gang of friends and is expected to return to India in the first week of June. He even missed attending the UK premiere of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion on Wednesday at British Film Institute (BFI).
Although he took minor breaks during the course of last five years, he couldn’t afford to go on a holiday and just chill. This time, he’s just doing that. He has been accompanied by his close friends and they have gone to unwind and have fun. Moreover, he takes a break every summer and this time he converted it into a holiday. He left earlier this week and is expected to return in the first week of June. It’s only after his return will he start working on his next multilingual film Saaho.
a source close to the actor said.
With Baahubali 2 already on its way to be India’s biggest grosser, all eyes are on Saaho, which will see Prabhas in a never seen before action avatar. The film will be made in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil and its makers are going to spend lavishly on action sequences. The team has already roped in international stunt master Kenny Bates to supervise the action sequences which will be predominantly shot in Abu Dhabi and Europe.
Saaho’s teaser was attached and released with Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and it helped the film garner a lot of attention. Following the phenomenal success of the second part in the Baahubali franchise, leading Bollywood studios have expressed interest in Saaho, which will be directed by 26-year-old Sujeeth.
