Eminent vocalist and playback singer Suresh Wadkar was aware of his life’s goal at the age of 10. Deeply rooted in classical music, he gave us some memorable film songs and worked with a range of music directors, from Laxmikant Pyarelal to Ilayaraja. In fact, when Lata Mangeshkar heard his voice for the first time at the beginning of his career, she was so smitten that she recommended his name to all the big composers and directors in the industry.
