Apart from rave reviews and box-office returns, Sonam Kapoor’s portrayal of Neerja Bhanot in Neerja has also got a warm reception from the braveheart’s former classmates in Mumbai’s Bombay Scottish School, where she studied. According to reports a special screening of the film was screened at the school on Friday, bringing back memories of Neerja to many students who knew her from the 1978 batch.
B Sanjit Shastri, one of Neerja’s classmates, sent Sonam a perosnal message, thanking her for bringing Neerja back to life after nearly 30 years.
Sonam in turn, tweeted and Instagrammed the compliment, thanking her director Ram Madhvani for making Neerja happen.
The film has already collected over Rs 12 crore in its first two days since release.
