After the internet phenomenon that was Shape Of You, it is hardly surprising that Ed Sheeran is touring the globe to promote his album, ÷ (Divide).
And now it’s been confirmed that the Ed Sheeran Live in Mumbai concert will be held on 19 November (Sunday) at JioGarden, BKC. The ticket prices are set to start from Rs 4750. The registration for tickets will begin on 4 July (Tuesday) at 12 noon.
However, not all will be lucky enough to catch the record-breaking artist live in action as the Mumbai concert will be held at a limited capacity venue. The tickets, too, will only be available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Tickets will go on-sale to registered customers, exclusively on BookMyShow, the official ticketing partner for the concert.
The Ed Sheeran Live in Mumbai concert was announced the same day as Justin Bieber performed in Mumbai, so it is easy to draw comparisons between the artists who are seen as contemporaries, even though their music is quite varied. But one thing is for sure, you cannot compare soulful music with well-written lyrics, original beats and a genuine artist to a punk that is highly auto-tuned, and only still in business because he appeals to a generation that is just discovering music.
So, let’s just hope that the ‘Sing’ artist doesn’t have a laundry list of eccentric demands, though no one can resist a good Ayurvedic massage.
Eddie, we can assure you, our hotels are well-equipped and you won’t have to bring in your own washing machine and refrigerators that you can use to stock up on Red Bull so you actually have enough energy for your performance in Mumbai.
