The Backstreet Boys are back.
Yes, you read that right! Favourite boy band Backstreet Boys is staging another comeback after having been out of the game for almost five years and the 90s kids are losing their minds.
The band, which really does seem to embrace the concept of being “Never Gone”, announced their return to the music business on Twitter on Monday night, with a brand new single titled “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” that is all set to be released on 17 May.
Their last album was “In a World Like This”, which was released in 2013. Since then, the group was involved in making their documentary film titled Backstreet Boys: Show 'Em What You're Made Of and filming a movie that Nick Carter had written titled Dead 7.
The seemingly “Unbreakable” band has had its ups and downs, but stuck together nevertheless, making a stronger than ever comeback and continuing to win hearts of boys and girls (duh!).
As the news of the group’s impending return hit Twitter and its people, the social media platform started blowing up, with the post receiving 1079 RTs and 2781 likes in just two hours of being tweeted.
As expected, people reacted with various degrees of excitement, to some of which the group’s official Twitter handle also responded.
Fans of the group, hold on to your seats till Thursday, the Backstreet Boys will be back for you soon! Till then, maybe recap some of their oldies but goodies with your BSB playlist.
