How often do you see people dancing on vintage Bollywood songs on a Saturday that’s usually spent shopping?

A bunch of youngsters broke the mundane as they presented a tribute to the singer from the 50s and 60s – Talat Mahmood.

Sahar Zaman, his grand-daughter organised a flash mob at Noida’s DLF Mall of India. Peppy and soft beats got a remix with some Salsa and Bachata.

The main aim has been to re-introduce my grand-uncle Talat Mahmood’s songs to the youngsters today, who vaguely know him as a legend of sorts but have never really experienced his music.
