Holiday season is almost here
and there is a lovely movie for kids at the cinemas. Kung Fu Panda 3 has
everything that the fans of the adorable panda would expect.
Po (Jack Black) realizes that he has to learn a lot to fulfill the challenge of his instructor Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman). While Po is living a peaceful life with his friends and trying to do his job, a Yak warrier, Kai (JK Simmons), who spent 500 years in the spirit realm before returning to the mortal world lands up to change things. Po will have to fight him but there is another visitor, Li Shan (Bryan Cranston) who is the biological father of Po. It doesn’t take much for him to prove that he is Po’s daddy! They look alike right?Daddy takes him to the Panda Valley and he is more than surprised to see that every panda looks like him! How cool is that?
Like the previous two installments, this one is also enjoyable! Come on, who won’t like seeing a cute panda go round and round and show some cool moves! There is no doubt that it’s entertaining but what I would have liked to see is something more than what the previous films offered but there is nothing more. It’s fun but it’s more or less the same thing what we saw the last time around.
Directors Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni have done impressive things here, which I am sure the kids will love. So if you are a Kung Fu Panda fan, go watch it!
