Kangana Ranaut Supports Tanushree Dutta
In an interview to Pinkvilla, Kangana Ranaut has said that she appreciates Tanushree’s courage to speak out against her alleged harasser, Nana Patekar. “Such dialogue is very healthy and it will bring about a lot of awareness... Raja beta needs to be told the meaning of ‘NO’ as well. It's in the interest of society that the Raja betas are told what their parents fail to tell them. Bill Cosby's Walk of Fame Star Damaged
Veteran comedian Bill Cosby's Hollywood Walk of Fame star got vandalised following his imprisonment over drugging and sexually assaulting a woman.
According to tmz.com, the star was ruined earlier this week when a US court sentenced him to jail and labelled him as a "sexually violent predator". The star now reads words like "serial rapist" and "MeToo" on it.
Still, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has decided not to remove Cosby's star even after he was sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison.
Maharashtra Names Raam-Laxman for Lata Mangeshkar Award
The Maharashtra government's prestigious 'Lata Mangeshkar Award' for 2018 will be conferred on Vijay Patil, of the music director duo Raam-Laxman, Cultural Affairs Minister Vinod Tawde said here on Friday.
The annual award is declared on the birthday (September 28) of the legendary singer, Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, who completed 89 on Friday, he said.
According to IANS, Patil, the surviving partner Laxman of the famous Raam-Laxman team, shall be honoured with a cash prize of Rs 500,000, citation and a trophy at a function, Tawde added.
Radhika Apte Hopes for Safer Work Culture
Actress Radhika Apte says there is a need to create a culture without sexual abuse of anybody.
"I think we need to create culture without sexual abuse for anybody then we will have a work culture," Radhika told IANS over an email.
