'Nutcracker and the Four Realms' Gets India Release Date
Disney's "The Nutcracker and the Four Realms" will release in India along with the world on November 2.
Inspired by both ETA Hoffmann's classic story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" and Alexandre Dumas' retelling in the 1892 Tchaikovsky ballet "The Nutcracker", the film is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, reports IANS.
"‘The Nutcracker' inspired my daughter to take up dancing," said Hallstrom in a statement.
"This film combines all of the best film-making elements-drama, comedy, music, special effects and dance. It was a heavenly experience," he added.

'Badhaai Ho' Actor Surekha Sikri: Retirement an Old-Fashioned English Concept
She has been a part of the industry for the past 40 years, entertaining people through different avatars that she has brought alive on screen. Actress Surekha Sikri, who is being loved for her portrayal as a nagging grandma in "Badhaai Ho", has no plan to slow down, and says she has no desire to retire either.
"Retirement? Hello, I don't even know that word. What does it mean," Surekha, 73, asked with a chuckle while speaking to IANS on the phone from Mumbai.
"That's a very old-fashioned English concept ... That you do something and then you retire -- and mostly it applies to government servants. Fortunately, I am a freelancer and I don't have any wish or desire to retire. I can just go on and on," added the veteran, who is basking in the appreciation coming from all quarters for her mother-in-law avatar in "Badhaai Ho".
‘Golmaal’ Stars to Cameo in ‘Simmba’
Rohit Shetty is working for the first time with Ranveer Singh in the upcoming Simmba, but he won’t be leaving old friends behind. According to a report in Indian Express, the stars of Shetty’s hit series Golmaal - Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Khemu - will be making an appearance in the film. Earlier reports had claimed that Ajay Devgn, who is part of Golmaal as well, will also be making an appearance in Simmba but as his Singham character.
Simmba stars Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer, is produced by Karan Johar and will be released on 28 September.
