In Bollywood terms Ki & Ka has had what you might term as a ‘decent’ weekend. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh the film as raked in about Rs 25 cr over the first three days at the box-office.
The film, directed by R Balki has been reportedly made on a budget of Rs 30 cr, which is reasonable for a Kareena and Arjun Kapoor-starrer. The makers would ideally have hoped to cross the Rs 30 cr mark over the weekend itself, but it looks like the fate of the film will now depend on how it performs during the weekdays. If there is a strong dip in collections starting Monday, Ki & Ka might just struggle to make itself profitable in the long run.
