Kangana Ranaut joins Sonakshi Sinha in having a different take on Deepika Padukone’s #MyChoice video shot by Homi Adajania.

The National Award winning actress said at an event on Friday evening:

“Women empowerment doesn’t mean that you generate a complex in the minds of Indian men. If that happens, it will take another 20 years to empower men! Women empowerment is all about evolving as a soul, as a human being. You shouldn’t be sexist.”

Kangana says she hasn’t seen the video. But she says she is glad that people are contributing in their own way.

Kangana’s role in and as Queen (2013) depicts a girl who discovers a way to empower herself and reject the man who calls off their wedding at the last minute.
