Her performance in Heropanti had all of us bowled over. Without a god father or a helping hand in the big bad world of films, this Delhi girl is already making a making heads turn. On her 25th birthday let’s look at why the actress might turn out to be the next big thing in Bollywood.
Her Smashing Debut Opposite Tiger Shroff
Kriti Sanon might have been cast opposite a star kid in her debut film Heropanti. But this kid did something right, that made Bollywood sit up and take notice. Her very first film has opened up a whole new world of opportunities for her.
Made it to the Filmfare Cover Page
Now Filmfare did something they don’t do very often – put a newbie on their cover page! Now that’s a signal that Sanon is doing the right things and headed in the right direction.
Rejecting Films Already!
Sanon’s performance in Heropanti got the industry’s top filmmakers and even Akshay Kumar, interested in casting her. In fact, Akshay Kumar went out of his way to recommend the actress for his upcoming film Singh Is Bling. Unfortunately it didn’t workout since the first schedule of this Prabhu Deva directorial was delayed several times. Sanon had to reject the film and Amy Jackson signed up for the role later.
Hitting the Jackpot Already with Rohit Shetty and SRK!
Kriti Sanon surely doesn’t settle for ‘good’ when she can have the ‘best’. When it came to choosing between Singh is Bling and Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, she went for the kill. Who in the world would let go of an offer to work with biggies like Rohit Shetty, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan ! ‘A dream role’ is what she calls it. And we call it a jackpot!
In the Right Place at the Right Time
The young 25 year old definitely knows how to be in the right place, at the right time. She doesn’t miss any A-lister party and neither did she miss being seen at the most talked about wedding in town- Shahid and Mira Rajput’s reception bash.
This young lady’s got all the right moves and the perfect recipe for making it big in Bollywood!
