The teaser for Marathi film Baba recently dropped and it’s probably one of the most heartwarming things you’ll watch online. Starring child actor Aaryan Menghji and Deepak Dobriyal, the film is produced by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt who dedicated it to his late father Suni Dutt.
The teaser begins with a young boy (Aaryan Menghji) as he’s going about his day. A mute child who finds joy in little things, Aaryan’s character is brimming with life. We’re also introduced to Deepak Dobriyal who plays the little boy’s mute father. The one-minute clip gives us a glimpse into the relationship shared by the father-son duo and their struggles.

Earlier, Sanjay Dutt had taken to social media to release the teaser. “Presenting #BabaTeaser, our first Marathi film production,” he wrote on Twitter.
Baba stars Deepak Dobriyal, Nandita Dhuri Patkar and Aaryan Menghji in pivotal roles. The film is co-produced under Sanjay's banner Sanjay S Dutt Productions, along with Blue Mustang Creations. It is directd by Raj R Gupta and is scheduled to released on 2 August.
On 18 June, Sanjay Dutt had released the motion poster of the film. He took to social media to write, “Dedicating our first Marathi film “BABA” to the person who remained steadfast in my life through everything! Love you Dad.

On 6 May, Sanjay Dutt took to social media to share a heartfelt tribute to his father. On the occasion of late Bollywood actor and politician Sunil Dutt’s 90th birth anniversary, his son Sanjay Dutt posted a black and white throwback photo in which the late actor seems to be embracing his children, including little Sanjay Dutt.
“Happy Birthday Dad. I miss you!”, wrote Sanjay Dutt on Instagram.
