Starring superstar Rajinikanth, Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming directorial is one of the most-awaited Tamil films. While there has been much speculation about the female lead, it has now been confirmed that Simran would be donning the role. In an even bigger surprise, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has also been signed for the yet-to-be titled film, marking the Sacred Games actor’s Tamil debut.
The announcement came from Sun Pictures:
Apart from Rajini and Simran, the film will also star Bobby Simhaa, Sananth Reddy and Megha Akash. Rumour has it that Rajinikanth is playing a hostel warden in the film, but this is still to be officially confirmed.
The film’s music is being done by Anirudh Ravichander. The introduction song for Rajinikanth will be sung by SP Balasubramaniam, according to Indian Express.
