Upcoming film Saaho, which stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, is touted to be one of this year’s biggest action thrillers. Naturally, the makers are not leaving any stone unturned. From an eight-minute climax sequence to a thrilling helicopter scene, each action sequence is carefully planned and executed and the best minds are roped in to work on it.

According to recent reports, the makers have brought on board Kenny Bates, the action director of famous Hollywood films like Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Transformers franchise, for a special helicopter sequence. Both Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor are in this scene, reported Mumbai Mirror.

‘Saaho’ also has an eight-minute long climax scene which is being directed by Peng Zhang, another action director known for films like ‘Rush Hour 3.’

Initially, the filmmakers had planned to shoot it in India. However, due to permission issues they had to fly to Europe. A special Italian military helicopter was sourced for this scene and Kenny Bates was roped in to design it.

Saaho also has an eight-minute long climax scene which is being directed by Peng Zhang, another action director known for films like Rush Hour 3. This action sequence was filmed on a huge 10 acre plot of land in Abu Dhabi. In the scene, Prabhas’ character takes on 100 fighters.

‘Saaho’ marks Prabhas’ return to the big screen after more than two years.

“Such scenes are common in the West, but we have yet to see one so lavishly mounted in India,” said a source close to developments. They also added that these scenes are being shot using drones and multiple cameras.

Saaho marks Prabhas’ return to the big screen after more than two years. He was last seen in S S Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion.
