Big B’s Tamil-Hindi Film Gets a Title: ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’

The film title has been inspired from a song from ‘Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety’.

Amitabh Bachchan aka Big B’s upcoming bilingual film in Hindi and Tamil finally has a title and it’s called Tera Yaar Hoon Main. And before you ask, yes, the title is inspired from the eponymous song from Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety. Tera Yaar Hoon Main is being directed by T Tamilvanan. Actors SJ Suryah and Ramya Krishnan will be co-starring in th film as well. The former had expressed his joyful sentiments over sharing the screen with Amitabh Bachchan.

Even though it is a Tamil-Hindi film, Bachchan is still working on polishing his Tamil. For the long shots, the actor will be delivering his dialogues in Hindi. However, for the close shots, he insists on speaking in Tamil.

Bachchan, for Tera Yaar Hoon Main, will be sporting an effortless dhoti and gamcha look. He started shooting for the film in April and was quite excited to share the screen with SJ Suryah. He even shared a few pictures of him and Surya from the sets of Tera Yaar Hoon Main on Twitter.

“Two disciples under the shadow of the MASTER - Shivaji Ganesan .. Surya and self ! Shivaji the Ultimate Iconic Legend of Tamil Cinema .. his picture adorns the wall .. my respect and admiration , i touch his feet”, he wrote on Twitter.

After Bachchan’s classic Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in 1998, he will be seen sharing the screen with actor Ramya Krishnan for the first time.

Recently, Bachchan also shared a heartwarming image from when his son, Abhishek Bachchan, had dropped by the sets of Tera Yaar Hoon Main to pay him a visit.

“When he not just wears your shoes, but also shares the same number of chairs to sit on .. then he is not just a Son , but your dearest friend”, he captioned the photo.

The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Prakash Bhatt, Sujay Shankarwar and Ami Trivedi.
