Red carpets are always glamorous and have a serious oomph quotient. That’s exactly why one could end up stealing the show or turn into the biggest fashion disaster right here. So here we go fashion policing at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards’ red carpet-
Same Pinch!
Oops, awkward!! Deepika Padukone and Aditi Rao Hydari looked like long lost sisters on the ‘GQ Men of the Year Awards 2015’ red carpet. Both the ladies opted for a Gaurav Gupta ensemble, and looked almost identical. Everything from the colour of their gowns to the layered ruffled bottom and even their hairdos, matched. But, no prizes for guessing who wore it better!
The Singh With the Bling- HIT Hai Boss!
Akshay Kumar is surely the ladies man and he never fails to flaunt it. The actor walked the red carpet with his co-stars Lara Dutt and Amy Jackson, looking their gorgeous as usual, by his side.
Lara Dutta- Flop Show, Unfortunately
Lara Dutt who is making a comeback with Singh is Bling chose a Shantanu & Nikhil creation for the red carpet night. The one-shouldered tunic featuring a leather harness-style bodice was paired with gold jewellery and a gold clutch. Nice effort but it failed to impress us.
Amy Jackson- Hmm, Interesting!
Now this was one unique piece. Amy Jackson wore a high low gown designed by Lebanese designer Rami Kadi. The cool part about this gown is that the hand-embroidered bug pattern glows in the dark. Now that’s something new!
Shahid Kapoor- Dapper, as Usual
Shahid Kapoor looked dapper in a grey suit as he walked the red carpet alone. The actor took home the GQ ‘Actor of the Year’ award.
Richa Chadha- Hain? Yeh Kya Tha
While we loved Richa Chadha’s lacey short dress, her jacket just killed the look. It made her look like white candy floss. Ms Chadha, if you wanted to hide those arms, believe us, the balloon sleeves didn’t help.
