Ever since the second season of Amazon Prime Video’s Laakhon Mein Ek is out, people just can’t stop praising Shweta Tripathi’s realistic performance. Created by Biswa Kalyan Rath, the series takes a hard look at the state of rural healthcare in India.
Tripathi’s portrayal of Dr Shreya Pathare, a budding doctor who encounters corruption, government apathy and ignorant villagers when on a rural stint, is drawing laurels from all over.
We, at The Quint, decided it would be a good idea to put Shweta and Biswa in the same room as young doctors (and we were right). What followed were conversations about rural stints, expectations from the new government and a lot more. Watch the video right away!
