On 23 September, during the Primetime Emmy Awards, Netflix had shared the first glimpse of it, as a teaser.
The teaser introduces us to the next chapter of Jesse Pinkman, played by Aaron Paul. It begins with the camera panning to a stranded car in the middle of the night. The scene seems like a continuation of the Breaking Bad finale, in which Jesse managed to escape. He is listening to the radio broadcast announcement about a crime scene where bodies of 9 male victims have been found. When the broadcaster announces that the police is looking for a person of interest who has fled the scene of crime, Jesse breaks into a sweat and seems to be panicking.
The season’s finale episode ‘Felina’ saw the death of Walter White, and ‘Jack's White Supremacist Gang’ holds Jesse captive. The film is set to trace the events post the riveting finale episode. Jesse is seen escaping his captors and piecing his life back together. Members of the cast including Aaron Paul as Jesse and his friends Skinny Pete and Badger Mayhew played by Charles Baker and Matt Jones respectively will be reprising their roles, among other characters. The makers have said that almost ten characters from the show will be making an appearance in the film.
