Dharma Productions has finally dropped the trailer of Sushant Singh Rajput-Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Drive. The film will be releasing on streaming platform Netflix on 1 November. The trailer shows Sushant as a Formula One test driver, who joins Jacqueline to pull off a heist at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
The film will be Netflix’s first original film with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the action-thriller also stars Boman Irani, Pankaj Tripathi, Vibha Chhibber, Sapna Pabbi and Vikramjeet Virk.

Karan Johar took to social media to announce the trailer release and wrote, “Strap in tight...your heartbeats are going to start racing!!! Trailer out now! #Drive releasing on #Netflix on 1st Nov.
He had announced the release date of the film on Thursday with a post which read, “The warm up laps are done, keep your eyes on the green light! #Drive trailer out TOMORROW!!”
Karan Johar had earlier shared a teaser announcing that Drive would be released on 28 June, 2019, but the film was repeatedly delayed. Though the makers never released an official statement explaining why, some speculated that the film was pushed after Sushant’s previous release Sonchiriya was not well-received at the box office. There were also rumours that the producers did not want to risk Drive clashing with Nitesh Tiwari directorial Chhichhore, which hit theatres on 6 September, and was predicted to be a box office success early on.
