While Kerala has been going nuts over Jimikki Kammal, the catchy number from the Mohanlal-starrer Velipadinte Pusthakam has a new fan in the West. Popular American television host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel has tweeted that he loves the song too.
Given the similarity between the names, a Twitter user brought the song to Kimmel’s notice. He'd tweeted Jimmy a video of a group of college students from Kerala dancing to the song.
Kimmel tweeted he hadn’t but now he loves the song too.
For those of you who haven’t heard it, here’s the original number. The song, composed by Shaan Rahman, was sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan. We can’t stop dancing to it!
