After two fake promos that surfaced on the internet earlier, and a lot of speculative theories about the new and final season of Game of Thrones, the creators of the show have finally give the fans some hint about what’s going to happen. On Tuesday, the official teaser of the upcoming Season 8 was dropped by the official Game of Thrones social media account.
The teaser opens with an eerily quiet town that is in ruins. Maybe it’s the aftermath of a gory battle, or maybe it’s not. In the little over a minute long video, there’s not a single person to be seen.
However, it is fairly easy to spot other things like a cut-off hand, a decapitated wolf freezing under the thick layer of snow that has enveloped the city, a broken wheel, collapsing rooftops, and the longclaw. This teaser is literally meant to give you the chills. “Fight for the living”, says the caption.
