As anxiety peaks for the last season of Game of Thrones, set to return on 14 April, two new promos of the show are doing the rounds on social media. However, the clips have not been shared online by the channel as of yet and fans are sharing them online. So, it is April Fool’s Day and we can safely question their authenticity.

The first promo opens with Jon Snow standing beneath the Weirwood tree in Winterfell. After some time, he is joined by his sister Arya Stark. Since Jon and Arya parted ways in Season 1, it is the most awaited reunion of the show.

There is another new clip which shows Tyrion Lannister, Varys and Ser Davos Seaworth looking towards the sky as a dragon takes flight above them. But who is the person riding the dragon?

The second promo begins with Tyrion telling someone: “We must fight together now, or die.” It is again followed by some footage from the last trailer of the Golden Company, the Unsullied reaching the gates of Winterfell and Rhaegal and Drogon flying above the mountains.

Game of Thrones will return with six episodes of 60-90 minutes runtime. This will be followed by a documentary of what happened behind the scenes.
