Meet the Badass Characters of Amazon Prime’s ‘Mirzapur’

Get in on the heart-pounding action of the lawless land of Mirzapur.

After the great response to the Mirzapur trailer, the makers have revealed character posters for the ensemble cast. The recently released trailer showcases the journey of two brothers lured by the idea of power only to get consumed by it, Mirzapur is an amped-up portrayal of India’s heartland and youth. It's a world replete with drugs, guns, and lawlessness, where caste, power, egos and tempers intersect and violence is the only way of life.

Meet Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Duddu Pandit, Vikrant Massey as Bablu Pandit, Divyendu Sharma as Munna Tripathi, Rasika Dugal as Bina Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi as Golu Gupta, Sriya Pilgaonkar as Sweety Gupta, Harshit Gaur as Dimpy Pandit and Amit Sial as Mourya Sahab.

Earlier, Amazon Prime Video and Excel Media & Entertainment had released another teaser for upcoming Prime Original Series, Mirzapur. This one introduces us to Guddu Pandit who is set to take Mirzapur by storm. Pandit essayed by Ali Fazal explains his ‘rules of slaughter’.

Another teaser in the series of teasers unleashed by Amazon Prime introduces us to gangster and arms dealer Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), aka the ‘King of Mirzapur’. As the camera pans across a warehouse, where carpets innocuously conceal weapons and bodies, he ominously declares, “Iss vyapar mein tum hamare saath ho, ya hamare khilaf. (In this business, you are either with us or against us.)”.

The series has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, directed by Gurmeet Singh, and also stars Ali Fazal and Vikrant Massey.

Created by Karan Anshuman and Puneet Krishna, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment, Amazon Prime Video's Mirzapur is directed by Gurmeet Singh. The Prime Original series will release on November 16.
