I thought it was absolutely fantastic, it’s a film that should have been made sooner or later. It’s extremely poignant and I think, fortunately, [one] can expect anything from Irrfan because he is the best so that is a different story. It’s a beautiful movie, very poignant movie with a solid message.
Homi Adajania, Filmmaker
I think it is a very relevant film which every Indian should watch. Lot of truth is being spoken in a very bold manner. It is very honestly written, very powerfully done, it really catches you and everything is very good.
Imtiaz Ali, Filmmaker
“It is a great story and has a very emotionally effective climax. Bahut sundar,”
Sudhir Mishra, Filmmaker
I was very moved and the film is very timed film. I think this film raises questions and also tries to find the answers. Advice to people: Desh so raha hai, jaagne ka samay aagaya hai. Madaari aapko jaga degi.”
Hansal Mehta, Filmmaker
