Have You Seen the New Sarbjit Poster Yet?

The poster of Omung Kumar’s film based on the life of Sarabjit Singh, was just released online. It shows Randeep Hooda and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who play the lead roles in the Omung Kumar biopic. The poster shows a close shot of Randeep Hooda’s face wearing a broken pair of spectacles, suggesting his long struggle in a Pakistani prison. Aishwarya Rai is seen in a rustic salwar kameez, wearing a worried expression. She plays Sarabjit Singh’s sister Dalbir Kaur in the film.

Sarbjit is the story of an Indian farmer, who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan, and was sentenced to death. He was attacked inside a prison in Lahore in April 2013, and he died a few days later. Sarbjit releases in theatres on May 20th, 2016
