Gun N’ Roses is all set to be back. That’s right.
The Rolling Stone reported on Wednesday that after months of rumors, tweets and other evidence, Axl Rose will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live on 6 January 2016 possibly to address the classic Guns N’ Roses line up reuniting in 2016.
The rumors began in May when Slash told CBS that tension had dissipated between him and Rose. These rumors started taking a more solid shape when the Guns N’ Roses official Twitter account began teasing its fans.
Recently, a mysterious teaser played before the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens featured. The mashup, Welcome to the Jungle showed a bunch of black and white shots of crowds ending with a placard Coming Soon.
The band’s reunion lineup is unclear, though Axl, Slash, and Duff McKagan are all involved, reported Consequence of Sound.
Matt Sorum is believed to be behind the kit in place of original drummer Steven Adler. An official announcement, it seems, is imminent.
Guns N’ Roses’ founding lineup last performed together in July 1993. Now, as Rose has let bygones be bygones, in 2016 he’ll give fans the reunion that they have long desired.
