Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has now aired her views on the Kangana Ranaut versus Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar controversy.

In a media interaction, when quizzed about her opinion on Kangana’s recent headline grabbing Aap Ki Adalat episode, where she spoke against the Roshans and Karan Johar once again, Farah said, “I don’t want to take anyone’s name, I don’t want to get caught in between. But every time you are playing a woman’s card. For me feminism is equality.”

Elaborating on her comment, Farah added, “In such a scenario a man should put himself in a woman’s shoes and vice versa and then it becomes easy to understand each other. One should deal with such matters carefully.”

Farah Khan has been closely associated with filmmaker Karan Johar ever since she choreographed a dance sequence in Aditya Chopra’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, on which Karan worked as an assistant. Farah also choreographed the songs of Karan’s debut film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Reacting to Kangana’s recent candid interview about her personal life Farah also said, “Just imagine if a man had said something like a woman, what would have happened. If a man had sent a picture or said anything like this, that man’s life would have become hell or he might have been taken to the jail. If such things are not acceptable for a man, why it should be for woman?”
