1. Krishna Raj Kapoor Passes Away at 87
Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of legendary actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor, breathed her last on Monday morning, 1 October, in Mumbai. According to reports, Krishna Raj Kapoor passed away at around 4 am, she was 87-years-old.
Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima, posted a picture of her with mom Neetu Singh and Krishna Raj Kapoor on her Instagram page with the message, “I love you, I will always love you, RIP Dadi”.

2. ‘Dassehra’ Trailer: Neil Nitin Mukesh in Another Vigilante Drama
The trailer of Neil Nitin Mukesh’s upcoming film Dassehra has just been released. Directed by Manish Vatsalya and produced by Aparana S Hosing, it also stars Tina Desai.
Dassehra seems to be another vigilante cop story with Neil’s character going on a revenge rampage after politics and law join hands to stop the juggernaut of justice in the murder of four women in a hostel. Add to that a lot of dhamakedaar action sequences juxtaposed to (presumably metaphorical) raam leela performances.

3. Emma Watson Pays ‘Deepest Respect’ to Savita Halappanavar
Activist and the Harry Potter actor Emma Watson paid tribute to Savita Halappanavar, the Indian dentist, who passed away after being denied abortion in Ireland in 2012, in a heart-tugging letter published in the Porter magazine.
Halappanavar’s death was a result of a septic miscarriage and could have been averted. Her case became a turning point in Ireland’s history as it propelled the historic referendum, in which over 65% voted to legalise abortion. "You didn’t want to become the face of a movement; you wanted a procedure that would have saved your life," Watson wrote.

4. Kangana Sounds the Battle Cry Ahead of ‘Manikarnika’ Teaser Launch
Kangana Ranut is on battle mode ahead of the teaser release of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi on Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October. A new still from the film has been released showing the queen of Jhansi giving the battle cry.

5. Tom Hardy Takes the ‘Mogambo’ Challenge for Riz Ahmed
Riz Ahmed is known as an actor for films and series like The Reluctant Fundamentalist, Rogue One and The Night of. But the 35 year old, who is of Pakistani decent, is also popular as a rapper under the name of Riz MC. Riz’s music has a lot of Bollywood and South Asian influence, and for his next single he has sampled one of the most iconic lines of Hindi cinema “Mogambo khush hua”. The song is aptly titled Mogambo and to promote its release, Riz has been asking his famous friends to mouth the line calling it the ‘Mogambo challenge’.
