Tv star Pratyusha Banerjee’s alleged suicide is back in the news with new details on her last conversation with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh emerging. According to Mumbai Mirror, the transcript of Pratyusha’s conversation with Rahul - her last conversation with anyone before her death - points towards him coercing her into prostitution and alienating her from her parents.

According to Neeraj Gupta, advocate to Pratyusha’s parents, Soma and Shankar Banerjee, it’s clear from the conversation that Rahul had forced her into prostitution.
This conversation happened between Rahul and Partyusha just before her death. In this conversation, it is very clear that she was forced into prostitution by Rahul, as later on in the same phone call she has used the word ‘prostitution’.Neeraj Gupta, advocate to the Banerjees
In the second half of the transcript, Banerjee is heard telling Singh, “…You are selfish… you are spoiling my name. People are talking about me… my mom and dad are termed ghatiya.”
Even as Rahul tries to appease Pratyusha, the desperation is clear in the latter’s voice.
Towards the end of the call Banerjee is heard saying, “Rahul, it’s over. I am over. Mar gayi mein (I am dead)”. Singh, who can be heard trying to reassure her, responds by reassuring her, and asking her not to “do anything”. He tells her he will be home in half an hour, upon which Banerjee responds by saying, “Everything will be over in half an hour.”
Advocate Gupta is planning now to file an application for a re-investigation of the case.

Rahul, who is currently out on bail, however, said that the transcripts do not reveal anything new.

The Balika Vadhu star was found hanging from a ceiling fan at around 4pm on April 1 this year. On April 5, Rahul was charged with criminal intimidation and booked for the abetment of her suicide.
