Jennifer Lawrence may have won the Golden Globe for best actress for her performance in Joy, but she may have lost some fans because of the way she spoke to a reporter. The reporter was clearly not a native English speaker and Jennifer’s perceived rudeness has created quite a stir.
The reporter began by asking the actress about her chances at the Oscars but was cut short by the actress.
“You can’t live your whole life behind your phone, bro,” she said. “You can’t do that, you’ve got to live in the now.”
The reporter then tried to repeat his question, but she quickly shut him down again.
“We’re at the Golden Globes. If you put your phone down, you’d know that” Lawrence fired back.
While the journalist laughed at her ‘joke’, many people have panned the Oscar-winning actress on twitter.
Jennifer Lawrence is considered to be one of the best and funny actresses whom audiences look forward to. But by making this gesture at a press conference, has she crossed her line of humour and humility?
