Bollywood ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone made heads turn at the much-anticipated ‘Mijwan Fashion Show’ by walking the ramp together as showstoppers for designer Manish Malhotra.
At the show, which was organised by Shabana Azmi’s NGO Mijwan Welfare Society, Deepika and Ranbir looked stunning in Malhotra’s traditional ensembles. While Deepika looked ethereal in her embellished floral white lehenga, Ranbir donned a fully embroidered bandhgala in black.
The Tamasha pair sashayed the runway with their royal look, winning the internet.

“I am really glad that both Ranbir and Deepika’s health allows them to walk for my show,” he told IANS.
"We are excited to showcase our design direction for Summer 2018 spotlighting the art of Chikankari. Both actors truly embody the global-Indian appeal that the collection stands for," he had said.
NGO Mijwan Welfare Society spearheaded by Shabana Azmi funds the education and welfare of the inhabitants of the ancestral village of legendary poet Kaifi Azmi - Mijwan. Manish Malhotra has been associated with this initiative since almost a decade. Many Bollywood A-listers have been known to walk the ramp for the event in the past.
The collection shows some of the quintessential Indian embroidery craftsmanship in Chikankari in various texture that celebrated traditional Indian design.
Organized by Mijwan Welfare Society, in the presence of veteran actress Shabana Azmi, the fashion evening was graced by many celebrated personalities of the film industry.
The annual fundraiser show was attended by Waheeda Rahman, Asha Parekh, Nandita Das, Javed Akhtar, Huma Qureshi, Nushrat Bharucha, Yami Gautam, Mouni Roy, Kirti Kharbanda, among many others.
The event took place at the JW Marriott.
Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were last seen together as an onscreen pair in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha.
