It’s been six years since the final film of the Twilight franchise released. While talking to Variety, the Robert Pattinson joked that he “stopped mentally progressing around the time when I started doing those movies. The amount of time I’ve spent moisturising, I am ready to play 17 at a moment’s notice. Ready!”

The coveted ‘vampire’, who is now an indie film poster boy said the only factor that determines his decision-making when it comes to picking roles is that the character is the opposite of the last one he essayed.

He said, “Whenever anyone says (Twilight’s) their guilty pleasure, it’s like, you say guilty, what you really mean is just pleasure.”

While he did not mention his co-star and former girlfriend, Kristen Stewart who played Bella in the film, he insinuated a reunion. The Twilight Saga was based on the four novels by American author Stephenie Meyer.

His latest film, High Life is garnering rave reviews.
