Yes, you read that right. The next venture from the Mission: Impossible franchise would be shot in India, along with London, Paris and New Zealand. Yay moment for all Tom Cruise fans or what?

Tracking Board’s Jeff Sneider took to Twitter to share the news even as he confirmed that Jeremy Renner would not be returning in M:I 6.

Henry Cavill aka Superman joins the cast and the makers of the film are promising a bigger extravaganza than ever before. Producer David Ellison, in an interview published by Collider, sheds some light.

We’re thrilled. Chris is back, obviously, writing and directing after Rogue Nation. We could not be more excited about the character Henry Cavill’s going to play. And I will say after the Burj [Khalifa] we thought it was going to be impossible to top that stunt, and then Tom did the A400M for the plane. What Tom is doing in this movie I believe will top anything that’s come before. It is absolutely unbelievable—he’s been training for a year. It is going to be, I believe, the most impressive and unbelievable thing that Tom Cruise has done in a movie, and he has been working on it since right after Rogue Nation came out. It’s gonna be mind-blowing.

Interestingly, bits of Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol, which also starred our very own Anil Kapoor, was also shot in India. Though Cruise didn’t come for the shoot, his body double did, and some of the action sequences were shot in Mumbai and Bangalore.

We sure hope to see Cruise this time around.
