The 90th Academy Awards were held in LA on March 5 and the crimson carpet was graced by the biggest stars on the glitziest night of Hollywood - the first Oscars ceremony since the rise of the #MeToo movement.
The Golden Globes witnessed the all-black dress code in a show of protest but a burst of dramatic fashion dominated the red carpet at Oscars 2018. But nods to politically charged dressing were few and far between at this ceremony.
Plunging necklines and a dash of vibrancy made a majestic display of bold attire.
Actress Rita Moreno strode across the Oscars red carpet on Sunday in the same black and gold gown she wore to the Oscars in 1962, when she pocketed the plaudit for best actress in a supporting role for “West Side Story.” Whoever coined the phrase ‘repeat offender.’ Moreno reminds us of the glory of recycling and makes a case of repeating what we love.
