It’s such a weird coincidence that on Gautama Buddha’s birth anniversary, Canada’s pop sensation Justin Bieber will perform in Mumbai.

Weird, because who would have thought someday “the enlightened one” and “the entitled one” would share a day/date.

I bet even Nostradamus couldn’t have predicted this.

Par honi ko kaun taal sakta hai! Whatever will be, will be!

As we celebrate Buddha Purnima – to commemorate the birth of Gautama Buddha – a few Indians will also come together at DY Patil Stadium to raise a toast to Justin Bieber’s Purpose Tour Concert.

It’s a big day, Bieber baba. Don’t let some world tour get you all worked up when you’ve got Gautama Buddha by your side. Let Buddha share some of his profound gyaan with you before ‘it’s too late to say sorry’.

Walk The Talk

Bieber, it’s time you ditch the chopper and just “walk the path” that leads to DY Patil Stadium. You’ve already packed everything that’s required for a long stroll on the undulating Mumbai roads. And if you’ve forgotten something (which I doubt) you could always demand it. After all, we are the land of atithi devo bhava.

Bura Na Maano…

Do whatever you want but judge toh hum karenge. Kya kare, judgement humare dna mein hai! Arre, we didn’t even spare the future queen of Britain Kate Middleton when she visited Mumbai with Prince William. And you toh are after all from our pind Kaneda (read: Canada) – the extended capital of Punjab.

You are family, Bieber Singh!

Demand or Damaad

Yeh sab moh maaya hai! Bieber beta, why did you pack so much? Annnd if what you packed wasn’t enough, you also had some bizarre demands. Itni demand toh India ke damaad bhi nahi karte.

Silly Lillies!

Well this is one of Buddha’s gyaan that you’re truly following and Gautama would be proud. But there is one thing that we didn’t understand. Why do you hate lillies, bro? If you can have purple carnations in your hotel room then why are you being so silly for lillies?
