Marvel Studios released a new TV spot for Captain Marvel during Sunday’s Superbowl game. Take a look.

Earlier, Marvel shared a special look video of the upcoming Brie Larson starrer. Teeming with photon blasts, shape-shifters, Captain Marvel donning a mohawk and action galore, the video also features Jude Law and Samuel L. Jackson. It fuses elements from the previous trailers and offers a primer of sorts on the Skrulls. It also brings back Agent Coulson to the MCU.

According to reports, the video aired during the College Football Playoff National Championship game between Alabama and Clemson.

Captain Marvel is set in the 1990s and Carol will be the first to meet Nick Fury and join the Kree military team called Starforce. But she is back on Earth with a mission to fight Skrulls as they invade the planet.

Captain Marvel’s arrival was long awaited since it was first teased in the post-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War as Nick Fury was seen contacting her before ‘the snap’.

The film is set to release on 8 March. Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, it depicts a galactic war between two alien races.
