Yes, you read that right. In a fun banter with Robert Downey Jr on Twitter, Marvel Studios declared that they are preponing the release of Avengers: Infinity War. The mega superhero film, starring Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Benedict Cumberbatch along with Downey Jr and a host of other actors, will now release on 27 April. The film was supposed to release earlier on 4 May.
What this means for Indian fans is that they would have to juggle Avengers: Infinity War with Rajinikanth’s Kaala, which is also releasing on 27 April. Of course as far as Thalaiva goes, he can single-handedly throw the Avengers out of the box office window!

But it would be interesting to watch which film pulls the audience more for sure. Can Rajinikanth really beat the Avengers?
It’s being considered to be a smart business move on Marvel’s part to release Avengers: Infinity War earlier. Chances are that Deadpool 2, which releases on 17 May, and Solo: A Star Wars Story, which releases on 23 May, would have eaten into the Avengers business considerably.
But clearly, Marvel knows nothing about Thalaiva’s superpowers!
