“The director asked me to rehearse a kissing scene with him. At that point of time I was very new and the director kept telling me to let go of my inhibitions,” Zareen said. She also added that she replied, “What? I am not doing any kissing scene as a rehearsal.”

That wasn’t it. Another person also asked Zareen if she would be interested in “being more than friends.” He also said that if she said yes he would particularly look at the projects she was getting.

Recently, Zareen was trolled for putting up a pictures of her wearing a crop top through which her stretch marks could be seen. The photos were taken during a trip to Jaipiur.

Zarine responded to the negative comments she received with a note stating that “believes in being real and embraced her imperfections with pride rather than covering it up.”

She also explained that the marks were the result of losing a large amount of weight without surgical correction. “For people who are very curious to know about what's wrong with my stomach, this is the natural stomach of a person, who has lost 15 kgs of weight, this is how it looks when it is not photoshopped or surgically corrected,” Zareen said.

On film front, Zareen will be soon be seen in Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele. Anushka meanwhile has not signed any films since Zero but is producing a project for streaming giant Netflix.
