Celebrities took to wish the happy couple!
Virat Kohli’ childhood cricket coach was also present at the wedding. When he excused himself earlier from a crucial CK Nayudu U-23 semi-final game that Delhi was supposed to play against Tamil Nadu at the Airforce Complex ground in Palam, the then ‘rumours’ of the Virushka wedding gained ground.
According to a spokesperson of the couple, the couple will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on 21st December, which will be followed by a reception for industry friends and cricketers in Mumbai on 26th December.

The spokesperson added that the newlyweds will travel to South Africa where Virat will start prepping for upcoming series and Anushka will spend New Year’s Eve with him. She will return in the first week of January to begin shooting the next schedule of a film with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai. She will also start prepping for Sui Dhaaga that co-stars Varun Dhawan and be busy with the promotions of Pari.
Virat and Anushka would move to their new residence in Worli, Mumbai in December.

Here’s what the wedding photographer Joseph Radhik posted:
The wedding was solemnised in a 800-year-old plush resort, Borgo Finocchieto. Set midst rolling vineyards, the property is located in a 13th century hamlet in Buonconvento, adjacent to the castle of Bibbiano, 35 km south of Siena. It’s as dreamy as it gets. Check out pictures of the luxury villa:
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli both wore Sabyasachi on their special day – even Anushka’s jewellery is by the Bengali designer. Celebrity chef Ritu Dalmia was in charge of the sumptuous feast. The wedding was designed by Devika Narain and Company.
The security was very tight and the media was kept a long way from the villa. But we do know that that it was a religious ceremony – Anushka’s spiritual guru accompanied her there – and the whole affair was meticulously planned.
But that doesn’t mean it was a sedate affair. We all know how enthusiastic dancers both Virat and Anushka are. According to sources, bhangra dancers had been spotted entering the villa and soon after, the sound of bhangra beats floated across to the village.
According to Filmfare, the couple will register their marriage at the Bandra Family court on 4 January. There will be a reception in Mumbai once the star couple is back in the country.
Before we end, a few more filmi twists.
