Veteran actor Vidya Sinha has been admitted in Juhu’s CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai. The actor, known for films like Patni Patni Aur Woh and Rajnigandha, is currently on a PAP (Positive airway Pressure) ventilator in the Intensive Care Unit. A SpotBoyE report said that Vidya was rushed to the hospital on Thursday. Her pulse rate and blood pressure are both normal at the moment.
She has also developed a new cardiac disorder that is being treated.
However, Vidya is heavily dependent on the ventilator for breathing. So while she is doing better, she isn’t completely out of danger yet.
Her current situation is because of a lung disorder that she has always had but it’s gotten aggravated. She has also developed a new cardiac disorder that is being treated. According to sources, Vidya’s relatives were advised to opt for angiography for her. However, they weren’t too convinced of the idea and have decided to let it go for now.
They further added that Vidya is not yet ready to be discharged.
Vidya Sinha was most recently seen in Kulfi Kukar Bajewala. Her performances alongside actors like Amol Pakekar in Rajnigandha have been applauded. In a report by Hindustan Times, an anonymous hospital professional said that, “Her prolonged medical issues had aggravated, leading to breathlessness and she even developed heart and lung disorders, leading to more breathlessness. All that has been taken care of.”
They further added that Vidya is not yet ready to be discharged, “The doctors are yet to decide (about her discharge from the hospital). She will have to stay here for a few days for complete recovery.”
