Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor have been busy preparing for the upcoming dance drama Street Dancer 3D. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film recently wrapped up the shoot. On the last day of shoot, an emotional Varun took to Instagram to post a message thanking the cast and crew of the film. Attached were some photos of the actor with the team and with Remo D’Souza.
“Its a WRAP on #StreetDancer3D. I cant explain my emotions all I can say is I love the people involved with this film and that we are all connected. Thank you to all the teams and dancers from all over the world who have come together to make this film happen #jan24 #family”, he wrote.
Earlier, Mumbai Mirror had reported that Prabhudeva will recreate Mukkala Muqabala for Street Dancer 3D. The AR Rahman tune will be remixed by composer Tanisk Bagchi. The publication quoted producer Bhushan Kumar as saying, “There’s a situation in the film where we see Prabhudeva showcase his dance moves and I knew we needed to bring Muqabala’ back. The audience will be blown away by the choreography and will love the new version as much as the original.”
Varun Dhawan, the film’s lead, also hinted at the remix in an Instagram story and a cryptic tweet.
Street Dancer 3D reunites Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in their third dance film together. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza. It also stars Nora Fatehi, Sonam Bajwa and Shakti Mohan.
