Sunny Leone, who was supposed to perform in Bengaluru on New Year’s Eve, has cancelled the performance. The actor tweeted that the Bengaluru police has publicly stated that they won’t be able to ensure the security of Leone or the audience, if anything untoward were to happen. And since safety comes first, she is choosing to cancel the performance.

Activists of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene, an off-shoot of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike, demonstrated outside Manyata Tech Park with protestors wearing black ribbons, armed with brooms, burning posters featuring Sunny Leone.
Sunny Leone sent a message for her supporters and protesters alike.
