The video begins with a very sleepy Sonam getting ready for the film’s trailer launch that took place a few days back. As she sits down for her makeup, we are introduced to Alpa, her hairstylist. The actor says, “We have been shooting till four in the morning and I am unwell. So, I just managed to catch three hours of sleep.”

As Sonam’s manager Neha tells us that everyone is looking forward to the first day of The Zoya Factor promotions, Sonam takes us through her busy schedule. “There’s my film’s trailer launch, then Q &As with the press followed by lunch and some photo sessions. I will be done by 8:30 in the evening”, the actor adds.

On her way to the event, Sonam shares an anecdote. “Throughout the promotions I will be wearing red and that is Zoya’s lucky colour. And red looks good on me!”, she laughs. We also catch glimpses of director Abhishek Sharma, Dulquer Salman and the cast and crew of the film.

The trailer of The Zoya Factor introduces us to Sonam as Zoya Solanki, whose father deems her to be lucky because she was born on the same day that India made its historic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Years later, she is sent to work with the Indian cricket team on a campaign as part of her job as an advertising executive. She considers herself to be extremely unlucky in love, until she falls for the team captain, played by Dulquer. In the meanwhile, she becomes a lucky mascot for the team, much to his annoyance.

The Zoya Factor is based on the novel by Anuja Chauhan.
