The latest posters from The Zoya Factor have released and one of them introduces Sanjay Kapoor as Sonam’s father. It shows Sanjay holding baby Zoya as Kapil Dev celebrates India’s victory at the World Cup in 1983.
The other one has Dulquer Salman meeting Sonam.
Earlier, a motion poster of the film had been released. Sonam Kapoor is introduced in a cool devi avatar, decked out in a bright saree, with sneakers, a cricket bat and helmet in hand. Sonam shared this on her Instagram handle.
She wrote, “Who needs Nimbu Mirchi, when you have Zoya Solanki! India’s lucky charm is here to turn tables around for you.”
A day before, the actor shared a cryptic poster. She also added that something will be revealed on 22 August, further piquing our curiosity.
“Ye lucky nahi, khud luck hai! Bringing you India’s lucky charm, shubh ghadi dekhte hi! --- This is not lucky but luck itself is here! All will be revealed tomorrow! Get ready to meet India’s lucky charm!”, Sonam wrote.
Earlier, the first look poster of the romantic comedy, The Zoya Factor, had been dropped. The film also features Malayalam cinema hearthrob and Karwaan star Dulquer Salmaan in the lead. The Zoya Factor is based on the book of the same name by Anuja Chauhan. The poster features Sonam and Dulquer sitting on a cricket field and gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes.
The story revolves around Zoya Singh Solanki who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job as an executive in an advertising agency and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team at the Cricket World Cup.
The Zoya Factor is directed by Abhishek Sharma, who earlier helmed Tere Bin Laden, its sequel Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive and Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran.
